Renovating

I am getting my tonsils taken out today. This is the card Rachel sent.

Dear Jenny's Danglie Ball,
This is a notice to let you know we will be renovating your area soon. We will be removing the crowding tonsil, and thus moving back your walls to give you move space. No more crowding, so you can be the lovely danglie ball that you are!

Here's to wide open danglie ball spaces and no more sick tonsils!! May you dangle away!

Next we are wanting to paint one wall blue! Still looking to find the right color!

Before and After

So somewhere along the line Derek and I got a bench that his parents use to have. It is a cute bench but did not really go with anything in our house. So we changed it! I think it turned out pretty good for never doing anything like this before!




So the bench looks a little lumpy here. The fabric was actually one of the curtains what we had in our old apartment!

Happy Birthday to a wonderful sister, mom, and best friend! Megan you are such a strength in our family! You are an amazing mother I love watching you with your boys! I hope that you have a wonderful birthday! We love you!

Happy Birthday Guli!

We just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Guli! You are such a great addition to our family! You are so sweet and smart! We are so happy about the cafe that you now have! We wish you the best of luck with that. We hope that school is going well! We are looking forward to the time that we can all get together again! We love you and are so glad that you are in our family!

My latest project

As we have been working on setting up our house I have had the chance to try my hand at decorating. My ideas always look better in my head than the final project. Also I always just end up staring at what I have done and I cant make up my mind if I like or not. Anyway this was my latest project.

Derek's Job

So as promised updates on Derek's job. He makes appointments for people to learn about the product that his company sells. He has been there for less than a month and they already have him training new people that are coming in. He had a meeting with the two guys that own the company about what their plans are for the future of the company. They are really impressed with Derek and actually offered him a manager position! After they have enough people to take over what he is doing he will take the new position! The first few months while he is working on getting things going are going to be hard long days but soon he will be working the wonderful hours of 9-5! I am so proud of him! He is such a hard worker! I will add more updates at they come.
